Circular pub walk
Question: What could be better than a visit to a picturesque Dartmoor pub that serves great food and beer?
Answer: A circular walk that starts and ends at the pub!
You can download a copy of a circular four-mile walk from our website for free. It’s a fairly easy route along lanes and green lanes with a few hills. The walk is taken from Michael Bennie’s Dartmoor Pocket Pub Walks and re-produced with their permission.
This great little book features 15 pub walks in total and we have copies for sale at the pub.
This lovely walk takes you along tranquil lanes and down green lanes through the farmland along the valley of the infant river Bovey to the woods in Neadon Cleave. The return leg follows more lanes and green lanes. As an added bonus, there are some lovely views along the way.
